The <hr> tag creates a horizontal line in an HTML page. It can be used to separate content.

Example :-

Open a text editor and type the following line in to the text editor. <!DOCTYPE html><html> <body> This is a paragraph <hr> This is a paragraph <hr> This is a paragraph </body></html>
Save file.
Open that file in a web browser.
You get like this out put.
